Within LocAll4Flood project, BDCA team visited Primary School "Kap. Petko Voyvoda" in the city of Varna. The event took place in the STEM cabinet with fifth and sixth grades’ students. The students had the opportunity to learn about important topics related to climate change, floods, and ways to respond in emergency situations.

They also discussed ways to protect the environment, including simple but impactful actions that everyone can take in their daily lives.

The children came to understand that even small steps can make a big difference. They realized their own important role in caring for the planet and how they can become true ambassadors of positive change among their families, friends, and communities.

At the end of the event, the students took part in an interactive quiz game that helped them reinforce what they had learned in a fun and engaging way.

As part of the Local4Flood information event, the participants were also introduced to Learn4Sea project - implemented within the Black Sea NEXT program, in partnership with organizations from Georgia, Turkey and Romania. The children were informed about the upcoming opening of the Learn4Sea Environmental Information Center (EIC) in Varna.

We express our heartfelt gratitude to the "Captain Petko Voyvoda" Primary School for their hospitality and dedication to encouraging children in environmentally friendly education.
