On August 2, 2025, the Black Sea – Danube Association for Research and Development (BDCA) had the pleasure of participating in the 16th edition of “The Sweetest Day” – one of Varna’s most cherished summer events, held as a Children and Youth Cultural Forum. The area in front of the Sea Garden’s main entrance came alive with color, music, creativity, and countless smiles, thanks to a diverse program dedicated to children, young talents, and their families.

As part of the forum, the BDCA team presented the LEARN4SEA project through an informational poster. Visitors had the opportunity to learn more about the project and engage with team members regarding the upcoming opening of an Environmental Information Center in Varna, part of the project’s international network designed to promote sustainable environmental practices and raise awareness in coastal communities.

BDCA team extend heartfelt thanks to Protema Ltd – a marketing and PR agency, for the invitation and for organizing such a vibrant and meaningful event. It was an honor for us to take part and connect with such an engaged and curious audience.

The forum brought together a wide range of participants – educational organizations like Britanica and MindHub, social causes such as “I Believe and Help,” corporate and tech partners like Bosch, Zepter, VISIA Digital, and Solvay, as well as culinary workshops led by chef Vanya Grozeva. The festivities concluded with lively stage performances by young artists including Lazy, Denis Moyls, Magi Lena, and others.
